I’m trying to learn more about exercise and nutrition, but the annoying part is that people make statements that directly oppose each other. Focus on movements that engage the entire body and where you are moving large loads over long distances (not like Bench Press and Bicep Curls). You should include that adding muscle mass burns a mere 4 more calories per pound per day more than fat coupled by the fact that 1 lb of muscle is extremely hard to gain. Also the calories burned by lifting weights and the maintenance of muscle is eclipsed by steady state cardio.

@PFG666 it’sok to do cardio as long as you weight train aswell to gain muscle. Make lifting weights your first priority, then do cardio to burn calories. 20 minutes is good, just like you say
. To lose muscle however, you have to do a ton of cardio. Marathoners are so thin because they do it for like 5 hours per day

Quakers brand is my favorite and it even says ” 9 whole grains ” right on the label I like the (mini or big )rice cakes because I eat sweeter ones when I want something chocolaty and salty tasting ones instead of chips I guess I’ll have to give them up
but what I don’t understand is the plain flavor doesn’t have any sugar at all and the flavored ones have like 2 grams of sugar so why would they make you fat???
